1. The work recognised by the Nobel Prize illustrates how a small initial preference for one molecular handedness can be amplified through suitable chemical reactions.
2. Non-linear effects in asymmetric catalysis demonstrate that the relationship between the chirality of a catalyst and the chirality of the resulting product may deviate from a simple proportional relationship.

Which of the following information supports/supports the above statement(s)?

1. The Soai reaction can amplify a small initial preference for one enantiomer and produce more molecules having the same handedness.
2. Different enantiomers may interact differently with biological systems, making control of molecular handedness important in pharmaceutical chemistry.
3. A chiral catalyst can produce a product whose degree of asymmetric enrichment is not necessarily proportional to the chiral composition of the catalyst.
